Hello from the uk

Just looking for some advice on getting rid of front suspension set up on a l200 (triton) k76. Looking to get more articulation from front end. So here goes
1. What is best replacement axle ( donor vehicle)
2. Am I better of doing both axles from same vehicle or is the a option to keep rear mitsubishi axles
3. Who's done it and is it really worth the time money and expense ????

Hell of a nice truck you've got there mate. Only just noticed it was your truck in the thread as well. Glad your still active because your builds given more question. I now it can be done now. But a few question for you if you don't mind??? Sorry for all the stupid question but in the uk different vehicle names and part needs sometimes have got me head scratching and google searching :-/

1. Are you still running standard rear set up??
2. Diff ratios how did you get round this.
3. Any advice?? Problems that have come up since the thread stopped??
because you've really got me thinking about pushing this forward and looking for the bits I need

yes standard rear end but with air diff lock installed, and i managed to find a 4.88 ratio rear diff on ebay out of a diesel model pajero, the front diff is out of a toyota hilux also with a 4.88 ratio centre, and also with a fornt air locker. i think just for easiness and less hastle it would be better to get 2 radius arms out of the rear of a pajero and use them in the front instead of running the 3 link setup and would probably drive better on road. front drive shaft was a bit of a hastle making up an adapter but wasnt too bad of a job..

hi there, i havent been very active on here lately, but i have also done (with a lot of help from friends) an SAS on a Pajero.
granted i didnt work out as planed, but we got it drivable and im gradually getting closer to sorting it out.
such a shame how life gets in the way.

i used a modified hilux housing aswell. any solid front axle hilux front end is suitable as a donor. think they made the soldi axle hilux untill about 1992.
from factory the hilux has less track width than a pajero, but an IFS surf front hub brings it out to a close match.
hilux diffs are available in many differant ratios, 95shorty used 4.8 as he stated above, i used 5.29.

on a side note, 95shorty, what happened to yours? do you still have it?

still got it mate, won a couple of 4wd comps in it and it drives pretty well, happy as with it
