Does anyone know how much horsepower or kilowatts a standard L28 motor produces.

88kw or something like 120hp.

This is probably more accurate than the earlier figures given on these engines, which were a little overstated.

But as a comparison

(L24) 240Z 150 hp Skyline 135-145hp

(L26) 260z 165 hp 260 C 145-155 hp

(L28) 280Zx 185 hp (EFI) Dunno the 280 C off the top of my head

the electronic dizzy really doesn't contain much but it makes it rev easier :D , the day i got it down headed straight up one of those dirt roads headin up Mt Dandenong and would rev as high as 7500rpm with no problem    :D , its a bit sad now thou, needs a service, but i highly recommend getting this done as it is good.
I thought that there was more to the electronic dissy thou, but after pulling it all apart after drowning it in toolangi i discovered that it would take all of about 15mins to fit.
It make a bit of difference when it comes to water as well.

This is probably cos the electronic dizzy is designed to go on one of the other revvier skyline or Zed motors.......

You could probably grab the cam to go with it too at the wreckers :D
