What size aluminium links and rod ends are using on buggy's / truggy’s around the 2000kg mark and how are they holding up?

Mine would have been a bit heavier but 2" alloy links and 1.25" heims. Never had a drama.

All my links were over 1000 and no drama. I used 1.25 for uppers aswell.
Opw truck bent the rod end itself but I don't think they ever bothered changing it? The jmw 40 has had a slightly bent front link for 2 years? After landing hard on it, Hasn't seemed to worry it.
I would just run the 2" and 1.25.
