replacing bearings in aircon pump

has anybody replaced bearings in one???
i've got it out at the moment and b4 i start gutting it, has anybody done it? if so easy?

from what i have been told, its not easy, i do residentail/comercial AC, and i took the pump out, and had new beaings and all fitted, then i put it all back in myself

hmmm. thought that could be the case, but i have rebuilt heaps of hydralic / water pumps b4 at work. motors etc so it can be too hard i hope.
Oh well only time will tell i guess, i have the power steering pump out at the moment as well as the bearing race shat itself due to dirt, just have to wait for nissan to get the seal kit in 4 me

Ive done 2, both whilst still mounted to the petrol Mav I once owned. Need internal and external circlip pliers plus a small puller and on the 2nd one a bolt screwed into the front to remove inner hub. (check no circlip hidden under mag cover.)

Found pix on the net somewhere once too.

cheers, i wasn't sure if anybody had actually done this b4. i suppose i better keep the digi camera handy and take step by step shot of each rebuild.
if its only circlips and the such, then thats easy :D .
