Painting your 4x4...

Did this a while ago, but just thought I'd post up my thoughts as it took me ages to work up the courage to have a crack, cause most of what I read online seemed to say how hard it is.
It was quite easy in the end, for how much better it looks. 3 coats of 2pac. Took 2 days to sand and a day to spray, hardest thing was getting the rubber mouldings off.... in the end I took quite a lot of shortcuts (tried woefully to rebog some dents, used a grinder to get some of the moulding off etc ) and I still reckon it looks tops so, yeh, have a go if your thinking about it.
Also, the plastics where really faded so I hit them with some black enamel and 6months later still looks good
