Hello Guys Im Looking At Engine Swapping A Holden 5.0 Ltr V8 Into My 89 GQ SWB TB42. Is It Easy To Do? Engine Mounts Do I Need Custom Ones? AndDoes It Need To Be Engineered In NSW? And Is It P-Plate Legal Aswell, And Fuel Milage In A Stock Patrol.

Dont do it, use a Chev V8, its narrower , which means easier access to plugs etc, Dellows have kits for various chev motors.
I did a 308 in a G60 - awesome , but it had lots of issues doing it and living with it because it was so wide in comparison to a Chev.
