tuning shackles

How do I tune the shackles?? I heard a lot of people telling things but not really how to do it. I have extended shackles with nylocs attatched.
How much movement is all right.

This is personal preference. the tighter you run them, the flatter it will handle, and the less steering slop you will have but the worse articulation. Most of us have ours cranked up until the side flanges of the bush just start to squish a bit. The more articulation your shocks allow, and the more off road work you do, the shorter the bushes will last. Generally, the flanges onthe side of the bush will get cut up and look really daggy, but it will still work fine.
Are you running rubber or urethane? you might have a bit more leeway with urethane as they will be more resitant to flexing and cutting up.

cool will have to have a play.
I have the poly ones. Tight at the moment but will loosen them I think. Are yours loose enough to move the bolt around by hand or just tight enough

loose the nolathane & refit rubber !!
better flexibility , cheaper !!

Not cheaper over here. Suzuki wanted about $20 more for rubber. :(
