I believe Popeye used to drive a 40. Instead of power steer, try spinach.
Hard to steer ,but in the words of the girls " Gee, what a cool car!!" Surely thats all that really matters!!
P.S. Sorry for calling you Shirley.

$120 at the wrecker...Toyota Crown or Cressida power steering pump, box, pulleys, lines and cooler.
Add a 55 steering column, extend the uni drive shaft, a little welding, etc...works a treat and is very affordable.

Just buy a 60 series box, forty series pump, bundera steering column, 75 series steering arms and 4 m10 8.8 bolts for the relocation of the shock tower and pull ya finger out.
What year is the "big" 40 series??? Might be time to do a disc conversion at the same time - four wheel that is.....only if it is really is big and your not just a short ass with chicken wings for arms...

Proberly shouldn't encorage "highjacking" but not shore what you are asking exactly but I AM curious if you have found some cheap padding, I am assuming you have a 40.
