I was looking at a 92 gq injected petrol auto ti 200k's looks very tidy, no underbody damage, no cracks in spring towers / steering box area, looks to have had a easy life. The question is is there anything more I should look for and $ it's worth, how bad is the fuel consumption on something like this. Unfortunately it has to be auto as wife can't drive man. Thanks.

I would think that a 92 Ti in good nick (city car) with no real accessories to speak of might be worth up to $12 privately. The km aren't too bad, but the thing will be thirsty. Don't expect less than 18l/100km around town, and I have heard of figures of 16 or so on the highway, but usually around 19-20 at 110km/h.
The other thing to look for in a city car is sand. If the ppl took the kids to the beach a bit, and they had surfboards etc, then there could be sand under the carpet in the rear, and this could cause problems in the future.
Whatever you do, remember you are buying a 12 yr old car, so be prepared for some bushes, shocks and the like to need replacing. Another thing that I do not know specifically is the wear/lifespan of the autos in the GQ.

I checked for sand and none under or in carpet and a suspension upgrade of 4 inches and new bushes should fix any suspension woes, still steers good though for a 2 story falcon and thanks foe all your advice guys!
