So Moose
Did yooose infill back up under that section (of course u would of ) but wat did you use ............. because once cut im sure it would leave a nice shape to fill (upon lookin under my new beatsy
). i was lookin at foldin a lip round piece that would fill hole and run a couple of s/s rivets to hold securely in place then just sikoflex round join to seal , your info will b great matey...........
Tail lights look sweet cool idea
But that rear bar looks fishy is that only exhaust pipe???????????....
I do realise it aint your work..

I've just done mine and i used after market tail lights from 4x4 aus. in Brendale, they cost me $30 for the pair using mine for a trade.
For my bumper i used 100x100x3 square and 100x50 for the edges.
Looks good but i don't have a digi camera, so no pics. :(

MK , yes they are late model lights , with indicator inside !!!!!
runs seperate reverse lights !!!!!!
A1 , made a template of shape , then cut out from previous roof chops , & then MIG into place , then body sealer inside !!! (taillights out)
worst part of doing the job is the initial cut !!!!!
the 9" grinder needs to be about 11" to do it in 1 cut !!!!!!

Air hacksaw with a full blade does both sides at once no sparks, no heat
I folded mine up after cutting most of the meat away and welded it shut. Didn't have to add anymore steel, and with a bit of care didn't damage the paint folding the outside face up...

Thanks Moose. That is pretty much exactly what I am looking at doing. Damn it gives the arse end a lot more clearance!
Does the bar that comes under the 1/4 panels towards the rear tyre bend back in and mount onto the chassis or is it cantilevered off the rear bar?
