well guys... that hose that runs from under the intake manifold to the back of the head has come loose and is leaking, causing my truck to run pretty hot.... how the hell do i get to it so i can tighten it up? it looks to me like i'm going to have to loosen the intake and possibly take it off? but if i remember correctly the hose is attached TO the intake..... oh what to do what to do??? any ideas???

If your leak is coming from the hose that sort of looks like a U shape and runs from the fire wall to the block, reach it by dissconnecting the thin lines that run from the EFI to the Dizzy( not sure what they are called or what they do). The tricky part is getting the clamp off you need to reach it with a long pair of pliers or something. Once you have the hose inspect it as the leak is more likely the hose than the connection. I just cut the damaged section of hose off and reconnected. I opted to put a new clamp on because it is easier to loosen using a screwdriver and those spring loaded clamps are tits on a bull and can be a bit of a bitch to get off. Anyway good luck.

jimy... its the hose that runs from under the dizzy to under the intake manifold.... and its the connection trust me... i couldnt get that clam on all the way the first time i put it on... and it just simply worked itself pretty loose after getting bogged.... so.... i need to get access to it.... but its a bitch to reach.. thats the problem.
