Ian
Is it just my imagination, or are you hanging out for a set of these transfer gears?

Hey NJ,
Jump in a 3.5L auto in low range and youll see why we are hanging for em...

yeah, would be nice. the low low in the autos is 25:1
, in other words not very low.
lower gears would compliment my front & rear locker very nicely.

OK - I thought my 36:1 was bad
- I suppose you guys have to give something up for the benefits you get from the auto!

Ok as I said the ratio is 3.15:1.
Mark is doing the drawings for the auto gears at the moment.
We are still waiting to get the 5sp t/case out of the other NL wreck so we can check out that input gear (it is different to the auto).
Then the drawing can be done for the 5sp input gear.
The wrecker says he won't have it out for another 2 weeks or so (I spoke to him the other day).
In the meantime I'm trying to see the compatibility with the NM/NP cases.
It's going to take a while I would say and probably looking by the end of the year or early next year until a batch is made.
