TJ flares on zook

Just wondering what you guys think about adding tj flares to a zook. Kinda like what damo has done but also the rears.

The biggest thing putting me off at this stage is that they are off a jeep!

the more useful parts you pull off a jeep, like diffs, wheels, flares etc, the less jeep is on the road!

I was actually looking at them myself. Big Balls in Sydney just got some in. Here's a pic. They look good, allow guard cutting (cool) and cover about 6 inches

hope you don't mind me posting this liam.

Rename it without the space

they look good if you trim the front guards to match rather than just putting them over the top so you see the panelwork underneath.

Jeff Stevens in moab has them on his yellow Zuk and it looks great I reckon. I'll try and find a pic

They are readily available from jeep owners going to 10" flares. If I did go with them I would cut the metal work to suit. Also get some sheet metal tubs bent up for the inner gaurds

I think they look un zook-like

Just get Calmini's or if you have the extra $$$ the same as on Liams

i'm with bigsteve, don't like the look of them much, too un-zook. the trailtough ones aren't toooooo bad, but still unzook, and $$$$$

why u doin it? cuttin the guards for ur tyres? i like the one's bigsteve's got, or just go some garden edging under the zook guards like mine :D

i thing they look good just depends on the dollars
i would like to "try them on" as looking on the car is very different to looking at pix

We have both the calmini style and the bushwacker 6.25 inch flares in stock.
I reckon the bushwackers look heaps better.
Trailtough ones are just bushwackers with the front pair trimmed a little.

I like the look of the Bushwackers as long as the guards are cut to suit but I drive a Vit so what do I know :D

1. My opinion, TJ flares only look good on a TJ
2. My prefferences are the bushwacker (ie ring Liam), or, the late model Nissan Navara front flares (just 2 sets of the front ones) trimmed to suit.

If you have Lux diffs I'd go the B/wackers, or if zook w/track, the Navara front flares.....

The bushwackers look good if you have that width of tyre to clear if not they will look like wings.

Any pics of the Navara flares on a zook?
