My Run around car has a problem

ok My themo fan has some problems to. The problem is that My Toyota Camry (my run around car) ce 87' SV21 has two Fans one of them works but the other one doesn't :?: :?: aren't they both meant to come on at the same time? i'm pretty sore that there both meant to come on at the same time cos i have had that car red hot and still only the one fan comes on, standing at the front of the car looking at the engine, its the left one that works and its the right one that doesn't.........

any help will be great cheers..

the one on the left, is it larger than the one on the right?

do you have air cond?

they look about the same size, yes i have air con

One is for air con and will only work while air con switched on :lol:

Disconnect it and re wire in parrallel to 1st one and ....

Yes, i would be sayin this is correct, normally, one will be for cooling normally, the other one, will be activated off the AC pressure switch, when the refrgerangt pressure rises, it is directly realted to temp, so it will cut in the 2nd fan, i dont believe this will run at all if you dont have the AC on, no matter how hot the car gets.

I got my air con fan hand wired through a circuit breaker to a cabin mounted switch. turn it on and the fan will start for extra cooling but the a/c wont turn on. Bloody great for slow speed, high revving, bloody hot, dry and dusty day driving!
