hi
when i got my suzi it had the botem end of a motor in the back from the head down but no altenator etc but i have been given the head and exaust manifold

ok i found these numbers on the side
F8A
D21
F8A 282308

will this fit in a 1.0 sierra and is this the 880cc motor?

Pretty sure that is the LJ 880cc donk. It will fit, but VERY undrpowered. (read: don't bother)

nah its a 4cyl and it is 4 stroke cus its got the oil pick up under neath all i have of this motor is
the head ,pistons ,con roads ,crank shaft ,block and exaust manifold

ok i ultimatly dont want my suzi to be fast and i dont want it to be a full on monster just my daily driver to and from work wen i get a job and the ocasional off road work. ive been told that if i put the 1.0 head on it, it brings it up to almost a 1.0 and gives more torque and low down power? dont know how true this is

does any one know of any parts that bolt on to this motor that would give a little bit more power and run better ?

I've seen a N/T jimny (same shape as N/T seira) with with a F6a 657cc turbo  over here in NZ. I'd say start looking for a 1 Lt thats cheap and running all ready probably work out cheaper than farking around with the bits you have.

Don't forget to look at other Suzuki models too for donor motors. Over
here I was looking for a G13a for a Sj 413 and every one wanted over $1000 for them, I found one in a Suzuki swift at a wrecker for $350- go figure ! same engine and a third of the price just becauses it not in a 4x4 ?? A few people told me the Swift G13a was no good for the 413, well I changed the flywheel from the 413 onto the swift motor and I can't tell and difference other than my wallet still having the extra $650 in it that the 413 motors would have robbed me of ..
You'll find the F6a and F8a in the Suzuki Alto so perhaps look into them as option.

I think you'll find it will be easier (and cheaper) to buy a complete 1.0L engine from the trading post and drop it straight in.

Most people want either a 1.3 or 1.6 engine so they generally toss the small stuff.

LJ80 had a 4cyl 4 stroke 800cc motor - not 3cyl
3cyl was a 2 stroke lj50

hello zookin4life

hows it going ??

i wouldnt think ull need to mod much to fit the 1.3 litre engine into urs
seeing that ive got all the bits to go with the swap over

but maybe some one els could shed a little more light on the subject

all my running gears stripped from mine so if you need chassis mounts etc ill cut them off my 90 model for the conversion
