Hmmmm.... that sounds suspiciously like the one that is available to download for free here:
http://www.modnet.com.au/~travis/feroza.zip
It's even got the same number of pages!

Ohhh someone is trying to rip people off!
The full manual is over 700pages... 8)

Rip off is right- I think the price worked out to AUS$35 plus postage.
There's no way it can be the full manual at only 440 pages- it's only the engine, plus some basic wiring diagrams. I had a look on Ebay and all these people were raving about how quick they received their CD, how satified they were etc... if only they knew the truth about how this prick is ripping them off!
A 27 meg download is all it cost me.

Yeah Ok guys,
It may be one available for free elsewhere, just saw it and put it up for anyone interested. Not having a Feroza, I wasnt sure. I know my Rocky manual goes to about 530 double sided pages.
Cheers

Sorry David, I wasn't having a go at you or anything!
It was potentially a good find- you weren't to know it wasn't the legit thing. The number of pages was the giveaway. He also appears to have made up that front page that is displayed on Ebay to confuse people, it's not part of the manual I downloaded.
There are some more free manual bits for Ferozas here :
http://www.dougfreeze.com/ , just click on the "Daihatsu owners around the world" at the top of the page.
Unfortunately they appear to be taken with a digital camera, but the info is all there.

Hey guys,
Ya, my Service Manual is a rare thing in deed so I just take pictures of it and post them on my web site for everyone.
If you need something from it, let me know.
Good Luck

Hi Doug, good to see you've finally joined!
I've actually uploaded the full service manual onto the internet. I posted info on it on the WARFS forum (it's the full thing- not just the engine.)
Click on my homepage link to get to it.

In your page the links for the Ower's Manuals and the Service Manual are broken... but i think that is for the link, why don't erase the spaces in the link. may be that is the problem.

The service manual is located at the link posted above (
http://www.users.on.net/~murcod/feroza/manual/ ) and is working (I just tried to download the index page and there are no problems.) If there are any other sections that don't work let me know.
The Owners Manual was hosted on the same server and was recently lost with the service manual. I'd amend that web page with new links but can no longer access it....

Yes, they were downloaded from here! Nobody on WARFS had any spare webspace when I asked about 12mths ago to host them- yet magically once I had them uploaded elsewhere suddenly the same manuals appeared on WARFS.....

BTW the WARFs login seems to not be working. I registered ages ago and it wouldn't accept my login yesterday- so I got a new password Emailed out to me which still hasn't arrived.

UPDATE: You no longer need to login to download the manuals:
Daihatsu Service Manuals
The Website seems to be working ok, I just reset my password and it emailed me back, i logged in, and it worked fine. HOWEVER, it is true that there are those who will have trouble due to spam filters/corporate network security/email blacklists. Just email me and I can help you work through it.
jonathan@warfs.org
BTW, Sorry about posting manuals on
http://www.warfs.org, I took over most of the site operations, and in doing so we ended up with more webspace to store files -- but this was in the last 12 months. Before I got involved I purchased the 1992 US Rocky manual on CD from Daihatsu, which I also posted on the site.
