Ok might be a stoopid question but here goes....

In regards to coils springs...
Can i take them some where to have the lower section of the spring compressed & reset so as to lower ride... ?

Basically are there any places that can change the coil spacing/rate of my current springs.... ? ? ?

If not then wheres the best place to take my current springs to use as a guide to have new springs made up ? ? ?

NOTE: Location = Gold Coast, QLD

Cheers
Anthony

King Springs are in Quneensland somewhere, give them a ring.

Don't like your chances of resetting coil springs.

you can probably have a coil spring made to any reasonable specification, but surely for a Rangie, there must be a few hundred different coils already on the shelf, should be able to find something that will give you the height and ride you want.

Any springworks with a furnace should be able to stretch or lower coil springs,we do it all the time for these guys that like to go super low

Just ask someone for their old standard Disco springs. Also you will need shorter shocks.

Resetting the coils will change the height but not the rate.

If you make them progressive rate by reducing the pitch of some coils, the rate will be the same until the closer coils bind, then the rate will increase.

To change the rate, change the diameter of the wire (thicker = higher rate) or change the number of active coils (less = higher rate and higher material stress).
