I've got a Cavalier camper trailer that I tow comfortably along the flat with my '96 diesel lux although I haven't towed it now I've got a turbo. Your's should go fine. Mine is only the basic model with no kitchen or anything flash and I picked it up for $3000, although it does have, nah I can't think of the name, but a fancy pants type of suspension, not leaves, with bands and stuff so it's basically independant and works really well. The older model I think is better cause it has both front and rear opening gates so when stuff slides to the front which it always does, it is easy to get to. I pack the spare in the trailer itself or put it in the tray of the lux. Unfortunately I run 285/75/16's on the lux and 15's on the trailer, so if I ran the same on the trailer the floor wouldn't reach the ground.
