Rotating Shock Mounts !!!!!! ATT: Newcastle folk

				Ok a little delima here...
I have a DC setup with adjustable upper arms and standard lower arms, one had a fair ole bend in it. I had this setup with no vibrations at all(dodgy but it worked....).
I have since replaced the standard lower link's with some tougher (straighter shinier links), I also whacked in some 30mm spacers in the rear at the same time. The rear was sitting lower than the front. The front measures about a 5" lift and the rear was significantly lower.
Now, as you can guess, my big bore (damn you big bore) tough dog shocks are rubbing on my coils and I still need to rotate my housing back a little bit more. So, my shock mounts need cutting and rotating..yay...
Wherefor art a custom place in Newy ???
What is going to be the best bet in this situation.
Do I get some newer high clearance shock mounts and turf the old ones. Or keep the old ones and rotate a bit.
I can see the brake linkes getting in the way of the mounting.
Do newy guys know if OL or Out of Town will touch this kind of shennanigans ?
And also what should one be paying for this kind of custom work ? A ballpark figure would be cool...
Argh help !!!

				Yeah,
They're what I was thinking about using bazz. Just worried about where my brake lines are in respect of where I want to put these new high clearance brackets.
Do you think most 4wd shops would undertake that kind of work ?
On a funnier note all the new control arms I have got from that 3rds production place are Bling Bling chrome looking. You could like blind yourself if you look straight at them. Arrrggh I gotta whack some black on them....

jemmy otha than doin it ya self ......really no that hard as long as u can source a MIG ............a plasma /Oxy or grinder or sawzell to remove old mounts................
Ya should also prob be thinkin bout raisen em a few " aswell.............. have u also realised that your coils are now sittin with a bow in them as u may well have to rotate the coil perches aswell........................i found that b4 i rotated the coil perches my left coil was actuall catchen on the upper coil seat brkt and clangin wen the coil compressed .............
I dont think OOT will do the job but it cant hurt to ask ...........speak to LEN or Darryl there .....
Maybe all bars n tray backs / or JT engineerin will do the work there up thornton way .....although ive heard good and bad reports of JT's work i myself have nuthin against them (they make farken sweet beadlox)
Anyway heres some pics of my POS wen i had the 3 1/2 springs in

Oh ok cool. Thanks for da picks.

You don't wanna earn some cash do ya ? Me weld

. THe old man can though.....

lol
Nah I am thinking bout heading back home to Wauchope and seeing if one of the boys from Binskins will do it. Yeah the bow in the coils is a worry as well

.
That brings me to the diff fill point. Should you a new hole drilled for the new level. Or just rotate the diff to stock level again for each change/inspection ?
I can't really distinguish what mounts they are, that you have used. Are they the originals with a bit cut out or otherwise ?

if you want a quick easy solution, cut a groove through the sides of the mount, front to back leaving the rear part intact. bend them back to where you want them, then weld plates over the V-shaped openings you have left.
someone should do it for you for a box of beer or something, it is 30 minutes work.
