I have herd word around the place now, that if you are building a new truck 4-competition etc, it has to look like the original truck or you won't be able to compete.

Can anyone tell me just how far you are able to cut up a truck, modify it etc, before it becomes I guess illegal for competition. Where is it written?

This is in relation to winch events, Outback challenge, and anything else that may or may not be effected by these rules. Don't won't to put all the hours into building something that you can't use.

Cheers

What sort of event would you be interested in setting up for?

best to try the CCDA website regarding the rules.

QLD equivalent http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... light=ccda

Extreme Winch challenge events have their own rules as such... see the website. http://www.xtreme4x4sport.com.au/

Each event would have individual requirements.
