does any one know the lengths of the body mounting studs and what the thread is?? Are they all the same?

Dunno the length exactly but the thread is M10x1.25

yeh found that in a bodylift thread but it doesnt say how long they are. only interested in the welded in studs not the removable front or rears

why not measure it?

They are roughly 2-2.5" from memory (it's been about a year since I've looked at body mount studs).

I ***think*** from what I remember they were 10mm 1.25thread pitch x65mm long

ok so if they are 65mm long then what would be the biggest body lift you could do without cutting the studs?

as big as you want to go.....

you can get 30mm just ... 25mm would be way easier

You don't need to cut the studs to install any size lift. I had 35mm in my car without any sort of jiggerypokery, but I did remove the rubber bush that sits on the underside of the chassis. I am not recommending this.

I have made a number of 2" body lifts for sierras (something like 8) these are machined and do not interfere with the stock studs. It is looking like I may need to make some more shortly. PM me.

sweet thanx guys looks like its time to give it a small lift. Have to be a good boy and stay home for a while (Bathurst is soon) so i might as well play with it a little.
