12v rattle runs - any good?

Reading the mud tyre comparo in 4WD Monthly, they used a 12v rattle gun, which apparently can torque up to 340nm (!), and only costs $89. Seems a bit cheap for something thats so powerful, and apparently damn reliable.
Any thoughts? Who's used one / got one??
Cheers

Out of town 4wd have used and abused 1 of these with no hiccups apparently................cheap at that price and if it lasts even betta and if it has a decent warranty back up laughin ..........................
Ive got a mate that had returned and got another grinder (cheap n nasty ) from supercheap about 3 or 4 times they keep fukin up ...he returns it and they give him another he reckons its the best 30 bucks he's spent

I got one for $30 or $40 from strathfield car radios, I pulled it apart and gave it a lube job, put it all back together and it goes pretty hard. slow compared to an air rattle gun but it will undo nuts that the 1/2" air gun won't. the motor in them is an off the shelf RS550 which can be replaced with a radio controlled car RS540 type with fewer armature turns so it will go faster, but need to replace the cord with thicker stuff and ditch the lighter plug for battery clips to prevent voltage drop and since it works ok as is I never bothered.
good value on the trail. I'm giving it the thumbs up.

I use the one I got from Brisbane Car Sound for around 50 bucks quite a lot and reckon it beats a brace hands down. I regularly change the full set on my zook (between my on and off-road sets)
Mines branded "Cellpak"
* 100W
* 340Nm torque
* 3.0Kgs inc case

I have tried 2 portable guns - a supercheap one and one from Repco. Both were useless! The Repco one didn't have enough torque to loosen wheel nuts and felt like it was about to self-destruct in my hands and the supercheap one looked the goods but that was about it. I could hold the socket with my hand and stop it turning.
I have solved that problem by getting and Air-Up system which allows me to run a conventional pneumatic rattle gun at high pressure as well as the convenience of airing up tyres faster than any compressor, running nailing tools, air-lockers and anything else you would use a high flow compressor for. Even home brew

made an air system out of a nitrogen regulator [ to get good flow of CO2 as the CO2 regulators are too slow] but prolonged use freezes the bloody thing and the pressure keeps going up .
bought a 48 buck cellpak 12V rattle gun from brisbane car sound and it works pretty good ... dunno how long it will last though.
BB, how much is the airup regulator only ?

Sorry I don't know if the regulator is available separately.

The refill cost is $20 but there are different setups to purchase. I'd recommend visiting

how quick are you going through the tanks beebee?
any approximate idea of how man tires you could reinflate or how long you could use the rattle gun for?
