Is there an additive that will stop oil frothing [must not affect the lubrication properties of the oil]?

The crank can make the oil into one big milkshake if it is overfull, mixed with water or old. Most of the time it is associated with performance cars that do track work - not race cars as they ususally run dry sumps to reduce the resistance on the crank and allow them to run a greater volumes of oil

Sorry guys to fill in the blanks it is compressor oil being pumped by a sanden ac pump into a coalescing filter [OBA] - yes it is hot and under pressure. The main issue is it froths up and sometimes flows into the adjoining water filter before the auto-drain cuts in. I believe ATF has some anti-froth properties - any other ideas?
