POWER STEERING PUMP

Post by Loanrangie »

My pump has just starting leaking out the side where the metal hose end is screwed into the pump and even though i tighten it it still p#ss's fluid out the fitting. Is there some kind of seal or copper washer in the joint ?
Hose is in good condition but cant stop the fluid flow.

Nick.

I had the same issue with mine - having read about pouring some Brake fluid there, I did that when my set-up was leaking (put in around 100ml) and now its working fine. Miracle  ...seems teh brake fluid allows for teh seals to expand somewhat, thereby elluding leaks
