Not 100% sure on high range but I think it is the same as the LT230 (for a Rangie 1.2:1 or whatever it is) but I do know that low range is slightly higher in low range (3.2:1 or somefing!)

Ok so my low range will be the only thing to change with a slight improvement to engine brakin :)
For some reason I thought the borg warner transfer was an almost 1:1 high range and I was thinkin that means that after putting in the 1.222:1 LT230 I have here, my gearing will be the same if i step up to 36" rubber from the current 33's.

Afraid not, I checked my manual last night and the BW case ratios are what i had said above. And as far as being a noticeable difference in low range, it will be about 1 km an hour in low first at about 3500rpm.

I'm running a Defender transfer case with 1.4:1 in high range to overcome gearing with larger tyres and the maxidrive crawler takes care of low range. This has meant i haven't had to change the diff ratios to anything weaker than a 3.54. Although in hindsight, I would have done the toy centre swap rather than putting a MD in the back.

Thanks TuffRR
I new the change to low range would be very minimal....
I not worried about low range its just the high range thats got me thinkin as I want to run a bigger tyre down the track (obviosuly) and I know at the moment my onroad gearing with the 33s is ok but abit sluggy at times.
