best suspension raise, limited to 2"

Post by Mr.MojoRising »

mmm drinking at home.
In SA we are limitedto a 2" lift from the ground to the body, before u have to see an engineer.
I want to raise my mq this 2", and get a bit more flex too, so my best option is extended shackles and relocated fixed mounts right ? do u reckon i should go 1" higher (2" on the shackles yeah?) and get some 33" treads, or just go 2" higher with the shackles ? (i'm on 31's)
Does anyone know the rules with cuttin and welding on the suspension in SA ?

i would go a 2 inch body and some long flat springs.

And yes, working the leaves that you have and moving mounts is a good idea.

Remember that if you are fitting 33s they will lift you by an inch or so too.
WA has the same stupid laws  .
