Call Liam at Big Balls in Sydney,
www.bigballsoffroad.com (i think)
get him to go the series 3 as long as they will fit in his transfer case. I think they fit 1985 or so onwards.

I don't believe series one gears are aviailable from BBO/Rockhopper anymore. - There have been pretty much constant reliability problems. I have not seen a series 3 (6:1) fail yet though- they seem very good

We can supply either
4.16
5.14
6.1
they are also available through M&M custom as well.
Rockhopper only have 6.1 ratio they havn't had the series one for a while now.

12% lower.

I've noticed the lack of warrantee on rockhoppers, doesn't inspire confidence, tho I not heard of too many failures of S3's.
I could take many months to save, not sure I want something unwarranted, tho if I fit it, theres no chance of warrantee anyway, I suppose..christover
