It all depends on your 4b and tyres. I run 28psi front 30psi rear on road (as per the tyre placard), around 20 for off road and 14 in the sand (no bead locks). My 4b is a medium weight (2000kg) on small AT tyres.

I ran 31" Cooper S/Ts at 38psi on the highway, and 24psi off-road - but I don't do a lot of rock crawling. Just before I swapped to 33s I decided to try them at 20psi, but didn't get the opportunity. I'm running the 33s at 38 on road and 20 off road.
Cheers,
Scott

Same as Macca, run 10 p.s.i. in 33's off road with no beadlocks, and about 28 to 30 on road, I know you should run more on road, but gives easier ride and the tyres seem to be wearing evenly.

As other's have said, depends on weight of 4x4 and sidewall flexibility of tyres, and terrain.
I have 285/75/16 MTR's (33").
On road 40psi - need high pressures with MTR's to stop them flexing too much on road
Off road 8-9psi (No beadlocks and haven't lost a tyre yet - helps having 7" rims (legal and cheap "poor man's bead locks"), and galvanised rims).

i run about 32 psi on road with my 33" pro comp all terrains
i run about 30-35 psi on road with the 34" jungle trekkers
i run about 7-15 psi offroad with the jungle trekkers, but they have beadlocks
i think my 31" BFG all terrains i ran at 32 psi also

8 psi in the JT2s on the camolux, no beadylocks
12 psi in the pedes on the camolux, no beadylocks
12 psi in the JT2s on the mav, no beady
15 psi in hte pedes on the mav, no beadys
have rolled the bead in the mav with the pedes, but never the Jt2s. Spun the rims with the pedes on the camolux, but never a problem with the JT2s, only dir in the bead after about 12 months. I reseat them with water, no bead lube.

Isuzurover, have you got something in writing about the 7" rims being OK? Everything I saw told me I need 8" rims for them, and I'm not happy with the cheap steelies I've got. I could get 16x7" rims from a later Pajero...
Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
No I don't, but a mate who worked at the tyre place I bought them from said they would be fine - and they sit fine on the rims, the tread surface is flat, and I have put about 20000km on them without the slightest problem.

Run Cooper S/T-C's 265X16X75. 40 PSI Blacktop, 24-26 PSI on the tracks and 15-18 PSI on sand. Have done a small amount of rock hopping at 24-26 PSI but it knocks the vehicle around too much. Have 23K on them and on track for the 80K guarantee. Expensive tyre but heaps better traction all round than the A/T's I had before.
