water proofing?

ok well i've fitted the snorkel and now i'm looking for other areas to waterproof.
I'm thinking of extending the breathers (rear diff and gearbox) to the engine bay next to the front diff breather. Then adding fuel filters to them and hanging them upside down to be self draining (as per milo from 4wd monthly). Can this be done to the dizzy breather as well? i mean i know that the diffs and gearbox need to have air going both ways but does this also apply to the dizzy.....given that it doesnt have any fluid inside to expand and contract?
Also, is there any other way or things i have missed to help waterproof?
The alternator is a concern that i havent been able to solve yet, as too is the radiator fan.....
