I have a 1990 Maverick SWB and i recently greased underneath the first time  anyway, the balls at either end of the front diff (not sure of name) on which the wheel etc pivots, do these have greasing points?? I looked and couldn't find them, i am asking because i know my mq does have these.

Thanks

The 'balls at the end of the axle' do contain grease, but need to be dismantled to be serviced. To service them, you need to drain the front diff oil, then remove the Brake calipers, disc rotor, hub and wheel bearings and then the stub axle. Once all these are removed, you'll be able to carefully remove the axle shaft complete with CV joint. Use MOLY GREASE to grease the CV joint. If required, replace the inner axle seal while its all apart.

Not a difficult job but can be messy--make sure you have an 8mm Allen key socket and a HUB NUT spanner for removing the hubs and bearings..
