Has anyone done or attemped this? I am building a shaved suzi diff at the moment with 3/8th steal for the front cover and I want to up grade the knuckles while Im at it. I know it would be easyer to put a whole hilux front diff under but its not made by suzuki is it.

suzuki diffs are made buy aisin

thought lux diffs were to?

its just like if you are a jeep guy. d30 dudes upgrade to d44's and d60's

suzuki dudes upgrade from the smaller aisins to the bigger model

Just a tip for you I understand you want to use a sierra centre for the clearance but if you go to a vitara centre which is still smaller than a hilux and run an air locker then the the side gears are interchangable which would allow you to run a shortened lux axle rather than machining one down to make fit as this is where we kept breaking them.

Ok So I want a serria pumkin, hilux knukles and shortened axles vitara center and air loker? I can get vitara centers same ratio as standard serria? Or do I have to put a vitara centre in the rear too?

I will not forget but I will not do the vitara center at first I will see if I can break machines hiluxs axles. I have seen the way you drive. I may be able to make them last.

What about the sierra ARBs, would you be able to use the hilx side gears on them?

Centre of diff is done, Shaved and front hat welded up . Ended up only using 6mm steel instead of 3/8 I figured it would do. Shaving has gained almost and inch of clearance. Would post pics but can't by the look of it at the moment.
