Well after the weekend I am getting a burning smell quite often even with city driving. I've put it down to the clutch which hasnt been the same since having to ride it to get a hilux out a few days ago.
Does anyone know of a heavy duty clutch setup? If i'm going to replace it then I dont want the same thing happening a few months down the track.

yeah i did. they have to order them in. my machanic quoted only 20 bucks more so i'm just get it done through him. It's booked in for Monday.
I found out that there is a clutch that is only just more heavy duty than standard or there is a "real" heavy duty clutch for a bit more in price wise.
Not sure if that was just talk or not.
Thanx for the info all the same.

With clutches, the more hardcore ya go, usualy the less they can be "slipped", as they become more on - off opperation. With ya rozas and the lack of real low range gearing, being able to slip the clutch without causeing major damage to it is an advantage to a point , though in no way do i endorse slipping a clutch
Layto....

Well I just dropped off my Fez to get it's new clutch put in....a Daiken Heavy Duty.
Mechanic said that it could be burning cause oil might be dripping on the plate as well......
Has anyone heard of or had that happen?
