ARB Airlocker Setup

Was wondering if someone could give me the run down or info on the set up for an airlocker. Starting from the swith on the dash, where does everyting go in the way of wiring etc.
This is my guess so far:
You have the compresor wired to the battery and to a switch on the dash that is seprate to the lockers etc.
You have a locker swicth on the dash that then runs to a solenoid that inturn powers the compressor to pump air to a particular line (f or r locker) ... not too sure about this part
then the air line to either locker.
Can someone fill in the gaps or maybe explain it better so I can set this up myself?

if you have an ARB compressor & locker , the kit contains every thing that is required to fit !!!!!
i.e . switch,s for comp & locker
..... wiring loom
..... relay
..... connectors
..... air line from comp to locker !!!!
..... comp & mounting hardware !!
..... pressure switch & solenoids !!
are you fitting ARB compressor , or another type ????

The type of compressor shouldnt matter to much, i run a big red with a small exillery tank. The connector which hooks up to the ARB comp was cut off and connected straight to the red. The solinoids and pressure valve were then tapped into the tank. The wiring loom then just plugs straight into all the electrics.

Well atm, I have a bunch of wires a locker and a compressor. I am just trying to figure out what controls the compressor to push air to either locker. Hard to explain.

You have a locker swicth on the dash that then runs to a solenoid that inturn powers the compressor to pump air to a particular line (f or r locker) ... not too sure about this part
the solenoid its what conrtolls the the pump
you activate the compressor the solind will open till there is enough pressure to lock the diff then close to keep it locked.
when you turn the lockers off the solinoid release's the pressure in the diff.

Actually,
1: switch that is the control for the compressor. IE: on/off (thats all it does)
2: With the compressor switch on (compressor running/working/active, what ever u call it) u can use the locker switches (f or r). These only activate the solenoids that allow air to and from the locker centres.
So u can use the compressor to pump up things and not have it energising the lockers evertime...
All wiring is colour coded for easy installation. Either use the instructions (the manufactures opinion on how it should work) or contact a ARB centre and they should be able to help...(or ask your mate for his instructions)
There, simple.....
Hope this helps..........
