Hey guys I've decided to go with hummer dual beadlock wheels 16.5 through http://www.usa6x6.com :?: and maybe with the hummer bias ply tires

Questions:

I was thinking of 4" backspacing, do you guys think that is enough for turning clearence?

Comments on the bias tires, I think they are 36's and the radials are 37, I can get used 60% bias cheap 50.00 and remolded radials for 199.00

thanks in advance

Have you got the right thread dude ?
If so what do you drive ?
I only know of one Pajero that ran 36" Swampers (3.0 V6 5sp) but ran 5.29 diff ratio's, went quite well.
Most of you guys run auto's (4.625 diffs) and will certainly require a diff ratio change to run 37"s and even then I doubt the CV's will take it.

Helix, of course 350 Chev, now I remember 8)
Power and gearing won't be an issue then with the Chev so no worries there.
My concern would be for the front CV's with that much torque but if you don't hammer it could be ok even with 36"s.
I personally wouldn't go bigger than that, you will have the clearance (with a 3" body lift) to run 36"s no probs.
In regards to backspacing so the tyres don't rub on the swaybars etc at full lock it depends on the tyre width.
I don't know what the Hummer rim offset is ?
I run 33x12.5x15" muds on 15x8" steelies, the offset of these is about 115mm and I have no rubbing whatsoever.
How about some pics of this beastie ??

Are you sure about this? Or is it more like 15mm? 115 mm is outrageous offset. I run 285/75R16 (33-11.50R16) with +2mm offset

usa6x6 will make any backspaceing i want , the wheels are 9 7/8" wide the tires are 37x12.50R-16.5 for radials and 36x12.50-16.5 for bias
