Rear Recovery Point

Dont spose anyone has a spare rear recovery point that they might wanna part with?

cant you just take the ball off your towbar and use the hole there with a d-shackle?

thought bout it but was concerned that when it had any upwards pressure on it, it might decide to give way at the welding.
did put up a post bout it awhile ago and got kind of a mixed bag of answers.
I would feel happier with a more sturdier point for recovery.

How is your towbar set up though? Is it just the tounge bolted to the factory bolt holes where the loop/hook was bolted to or is it a complete tow bar assembly that has an additional bar across it that bolts to the chassis.
?

Looks like they've drillled additional holes because they are very close to the existing ones. The tongue is welded to the plate and the plate is bolted onto the holes where the recovery point should be.
