MQ Coil conversion - anyone done it yet?

I have searched heaps on this site and have not found any concrete info of anyone having completed this project (altho I am half blind so likely to have missed all the posts).

The closest I have found is this:

http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... t=mq+coils

Has anyone managed to do it and what gear did you use? Coils, trailing arms, coil hats etc.

I am investigating the project and my initial thoughts were to get all the trailing arms and A-frame from a Range Rover (or make my own A-frame). The TJ coils for the front sounds like a good idea...are they flat both ends? Comments...thoughts here?

Does anyone also know of the legalities of the conversion for QLD?

Cheers

Craig

talk to cheezy... he was telling me how if you are going to go the full conversion with a-frame & 5link and such it doesn't matter if you start with a gq or mq as they rebuild or reinforce all the existing shit anyway.

And if you have a mq with coils thats cool    where every man and his dog own's a gq :finger:

So Cheezy are you saying to use GQ diffs on an MQ Patrol? Aren't the diff centres in the middle with these? Or doesn't it really matter?
