yeah plan is to just grind it and weld a plate in it. Not really happy due to the facked both of them body mounts are fucked on the cab side, so i'll have to do somethng about them, the left mount is completely rusted through as in it aint even on the cab anymore, the right wouldnt hold very well in a crash, so just ganna fuck it all off

(talking about the cab, the hassie is completely rust free)

looks okay, don’t know what you are going to do about those body mount tho......
i cut the entire floor out of my 40, and welded in a whole new section of 5 mm plate. the farkers bullet proof now.

(where talking from the rear guard to the foot wells, and passenger to driver side doors)

no where near that much rust in my 40, just behind the passenger seat and small bits, speaking of which it must be time to fish oil it again, been about 10 months now.

hmm, but your 40 didnt live on a beach...... the wiring is still farked (sea water in it, so it has rusted out). But its got about a hundred acres of sheet steel in there, somewhere
in a few years im going to import a fiberglass tub from the US of A. + bonnet and gaurds, then she will be a plastic 4wd.
