I had to do the heater tap on mine (last thing to come off the dash, bastard thing).

Remove the glovebox, radio pod, instrument cluster & all auxillary panels from under the steering column.

Remove the heater controls & all the electrical wiring from the dash panel. It is one peice left to right. Remove the throttle lock.

Remove the jesus bar, nuts are accsessed through the glovebox hole.

Remove dash cover.

Remove steel bracket above heater box assembly & ther you have it.

If you need to remove heater box as well you will need to disconnect the heater hoses and AC (if it has it), make sure you dont release the gas to the atmosphere, have a sparky evacuate it for you.

Let me know if you have any more questions as & iave a complete nissan workshop maual.

yeh as said above, its straight forward. All of it can be removed via phillips head screws, and it ALL can be taken off, every last peice :D

Not a bad job to do, you cant take any shortcuts though. Everything has to come off the dash. Like I said , When my heater tap leaked I thought "this should be easy"...... Little did I know!!
