Hi Pete
I would suggest contacting Powerauto (spelling??) in Melbourne. You could buy a new PTO setup from them ($4000+) they are very helpfull. The pto bit (not the winch bit) is no longer made for Nissans according to some suppliers i spoke to, so it is just what shops have in stock.
I tried finding a second hand one for a while and had no luck. If you see one second hand i would suggest grabbing it, or let me Know or both. :D There was one for sale a few months ago near melbourne for only $800, but it was snapped up very quickly.
Good luck.

Hi again, I found one in the trading post here NSW, so I took the day off work and drove straight there to Look/buy.
  My jaw dropped because it is a thomas big ass winch still mounted to a massive steel bumper, power auto PTO, 35LTR hydraulic resevior, hydraulic pump that is run from the PTO shaft lines to the hyd motor on the winch, a up/down hyd selector for a big hyd ram and the line, the only thing missing are the mount plate for the pump and the big ram but I don't need that because mine is a wagon not a tray like it came off. Got the lot for $1000.00 with a guarantee if the PTO box didn't suit my box I could return the lot. But it is the exact right box. I spoke the new bloke for powerauto can get his number if some ones intersted he might still have some boxes, and he is really helpful too.
