I run mtr's on my patrol as every day tires, they are a bit noisy but all muddies are, you just learn to get over it. other then that the mtr's have been great and would recomend them to anyone.

BFG's are much quieter than BAR treads
Yes, BFG's have gone downhil since they added the rim protector / weight ejectors.

I'm running 33 bfg muds on my GQ. The noise level is fine, I have never had a problem with them. I use them as a daily driver doing about 350km a week. Also been used in mud, snow, desert and dirt tracks. They have the rim protector and they balanced up fine running no weights. They have been on the car for about 20, 000km and are wearing fine

got MTR's daily drivers etc. Had BFGs before these, will go MTRs again.
Search is your friend, this exact thread has been done about a dozen times.

My weights have stayed in since I stressed the problem when I got them rebalanced, others have not.

I run MTRs on my GU and my Hilux, noise is not a problem on either and i'm very impressed with their performance on both.
