has anyone gone straight from the precleaner to the throtle body thingo and get rid of the car type one has there been any probs thanx

Dont know about doing it that way but do know of people that take out the precleaner and just use the one on top of the motor.
Best bet is to bugger them both off and use a toy one as there inlet/outlets are much better. Where as the nissan one is squashed where it comes out of the precleaner and the main filter needs to be bigger.
