Injectors and fuel pump have different output figures. Should drop straight in otherwise..

They are both the same no mater if 4 or 5spd. Its still the same box. There were no second Gen 83 dual cabs as far as i am aware. Only Extra Cabs.

Definitely yes
The advantage of a 5 spd is the 14% overdrive on 5th for fuel economy
and a longer front tailshaft which will help if you want to improve articulation

2 AND 4 WHEEL DRIVE ENGINES HAVE A DIFFERENT SUMP AND OIL COOLER HOUSING AND THEY DO INTERCHANGE
THE 2.2 " L " ENGINE IS LAZY
THE CLUTCH ON THE EARLY 2 WD MIGHT BE SMALLER THE BOLT PATTERN ON THE BLOCKS ARE THE SAME
YES TO TAIL SHAFTS OR GET TAIL SHAFTS WITH GEARBOX ALSO GET THE CROSS MEMBER WITH THE GEARBOX AND MAKE NEW MOUNTS I HAVE SOME IF YOU NEED THEM
YES DIFF CENTERS INTERCHANGE
AS YOU WERE TOLD BEFORE ENGINE MOUNTS ARE THE SAME
NO TO WIRING
I AM IN PERTH RING 0419 911 394 WITH ANY QUERIES

1- The 2.2 L is lazy?? In What way?
2- Sumps? Will i have to change the 2wd sump from the L and install the 4wd sump from the 2L?
3- 5 spd box- Itake it that the 5 spd is a longer box so that is why new t/shaft and crossmember needed?
4- How much would i expect to pay for these?
5- 2wd diff centres- What is the ratioon the 1980 2wd diff?
Thanks again to all posts
I realise Im asking lots of questions but this is a project 1st car for my 15 year old son and I want to do it right.
