SAS Pajero

Hi Bishy owners,
I was over at Silverwater (Sydney) today and I saw a SWB Pajero (blue and silver) that has had a solid axle swap front end.
Just curious if the owner is a member of this forum. I wonder what the donor vehicle is for the axle and other bits. It was parked behind a Surf with the same SAS treatment but I like the Paj better.
It looked really cool.
Cheers,
Rod

Was that at ORI ????
If so it is a 5 link front (airbags) using a re-tubed Hilux housing.
I don't think the owner is a member of this forum.

I saw it at Vore st.
Not sure about the airbags as I was driving at the time and only slowed down for a bit of a look (without looking like a low life thief).
It looked like a very expensive project.

Gday guys, its almost complete. Just have to put some bump stops in the front and setup the onboard airbag controls. I will post some pics of it soon. It ramps quite well for a pajero and drives on the road better than most Landcruisers and patrols. Stay Tuned

Lachie, if you could point the owner to the forum that would be great.
Lots of people will be very interested to see the result.
As mine is going through a SAS now it would be good to share imfo etc.
Can't wait to see the pics
