quetsion will a auto transfer bolt to the back of a manual

I don't know but I do know they have external differences.
The low range lever has a different mounting/casting, Auto to Manual

pretty sure the actually transfer case is the same. But yes the mountings on the gear box are slightly different.

Don't know anything about the Patrol TX12 transfer, but the TX10 we get in the USA (and used on your Pathfinder and Navara) is all but identical between the auto and manual. One has a little oil gutter under the input shaft, the other doesn't, but otherwise, they're fully interchangeable.
