will 35"s fit my RR?

ive got OME shocks , king springs , flared guards and 2" body lift on my 79 2 door Rangie and im just wondering if this would be sufficient clearance for 35" centipedes without much scrubbing

because someone is telling me that the most ill fit is 34"s which would mean i would have to go jungle trekkers because the centipedes only come in 33 and 35

another question is how much performance difference is there between the simex centipedes (extreme trekkers) and the Jungle trekkers

thanks

Kevin

they should fit, aslong as the flared guards have been cut.

You will get some scrub and depending on what wheels (backspacing) you have you may get alot of rub on the front radius arms, thus reducing your turning circle to the width of a footy field

i hope you have looked at upgrading your axles and cvs first trip with my 34jt2s broke front cv and bake axle. now running maxi axles and havn't broken them but have chewed up 3 110 cvs to date

they should fit without scrubbing.

Enjoy the breakages though...you need stronger everything CWP, hemishere (or fit locker) axles and CV's. A RR running 35" BFG muddies breaks these components easy the extra grip of the centerpiedes will smash them quicker.

They'll fit - how much trimming depends on the backspacing on the rims you're using

..but these guys are right, kiss your drivetrain goodbye, either of those tyres will give you great traction, shockloading things up and you'll start breaking CVs axles and diffs. Better save for the maxi or mcnamara sets

IMHO the centipedes have a bit more traction than the jungle trekkers but they are also bigger and heavier

thanks guys

in the end i went with the 35 centipedes (i must have to much money , lol)

i only got the rangie back from getting the maxi rear / 2"body lift / flared guards on thursday and it has been running like a pig ever since

i am yet to go out and attempt to break stuff but the time will come once i get it running right again
