You need a can of brake clean and then a can of white lithium grease.

i did clean it out with the brake clean and the rust is about 1mm into the housing so i think that it is just going to get worst and how long would the grease last

It is long lasting and has a rust and oxidation inhibitor. It is made for all of the moving parts on or in calipers. It has a good heat and water rating and or resistance.
Somthing that should have been done when the calipers were new. A can would last a long time. It helps to free up the brakes aswell.

i surpose i should done the calipers seals again and put the grease in would you put that grease in every piston hole or just the one with the rust in it

Some times you can use steelwool lub'ed with brakefluid CAREFULLY to remove light rust from caliper bores. Only useb a circular rubbing motion and press lightly. Use brake grease on seals on re-assembly.

Clean out the rust with fine emery cloth and ensure the piston moves freely with no seal also ensure the piston is purfect were the seal runs if the chrome is sus fit new pistons and you should have no probs.
