if it's the same as mazda bravo. then just wind
up the torsion bars throw in some heavy duty
rear springs and put on a 3" pipe from the turbo
into 2& 1/2" exhaust. that kinda makes em
go better.

of puff up high in the rev range.

Once you up the boost and maybe just a tad larger exhust, there is a piggyback module you can get for the ECU. It should give between 10% and 20% more power. Cost around $1200 fitted which includes a dyno tune to get the max out of the modual.

Thought the turbo diesels were mechanical injection, not electronic

You might sum bigger tyres then TeD2.5.
My dads got a 03 or 04 TD dually and he reckons its got plenty of power so not much need for the exhaust just yet. My opinion is 2 or 3 inch lift and 32inch ATs or MTs. It would run alot better offroad then but all depends on your sort of terrain.

yep already done the tires..a little bigger,,wound the front end up a touch and has now got a 2.5" straight through exhaust,,not noisy at all but noticable power increase,,specially top-end...
