Thinking about the lisdale area, I would also like to get into the Jenolan State Forest area and have a look around, but I havent actually gone through those trails before.

Hey Croz, what do ya rekon the travel time from newy would be in a geared down zook. Might have my detroit sorted then and want to test it before i go to wild weekend (dont want to embararss myself )

Not really sure, but I would estimate about 3.5 to 4 hours...

Went through some of the tracks round lisdale over the weekend....they've had a few inches of rain and some of the water crossings were bloody deep. Had water up to front of windscreen on one of them. Picked up several new scratch's and a new dent too.

Ohh and i did drive around my famous breakage hill. I had my daughter with me otherwise i would have gone up it for sure....

Cris, would love a camera man if u can make it.

have you thought about going along great western instead of bells road
much easier to drive . straight most of the way. only took me 1.5 hours from my place along great western.
could meet at wentworthville maccas on the great western ?

You can if you like but I like Bells and find it quicker from where I live. If ppl coming from the city want to take the hwy then speak up.

hey guys, whats doing? i was just up at lithgow and the newnes state forest on the weekend i found some pretty hardcore tracks that tested out the jackaroo to the extreme but unfortunatly i didn't get any pics. i'm so keen for the weekend its not funny.

I'm looking forward to it too.....even though my confidence in the Fez is not the best atm.

I know a few tracks through Lisdale that are heaps fun as well as some hills that I couldnt get up last time.

Chris, hang around me for the day and I can pretty much assure you that you'll get a breakage on film the way I've been going lately.

Nah seriousyl em come along cause i wanna see the 80 in action. There's a hill there called "grizzly" and I recon you just might (if your lucky) make it up.
