It is ONLY when I open the main forums site..

I just ended task again, and refreshed the main page.. wala.. it loads up again.. There must be something in the site that is calling a file... Got me beat..

Might uninstall Acrobat and see what happens after I install it again.

Someone else had the same problem in General Chat. I've noticed since the last upgrade some sort of ActiveX component is trying to load (I have security settings set high and get a warning everytime I access the site.)

The Admins reckon there's no ActiveX running- but something is happening..... :?

hmm... well I'm installing Agro bat again, and we'll see what happens.

There must be something in the php that's calling a file which is triggering either active x or the .pdf
I had Agro Bat Version 4, which is pretty old, so hopefully Version 6 fixes it. It could be a mod that was applied to the boards, and then not quite removed fully.

I was one of the ones who mentioned it a while ago. It was only on the sites main page, not the forum it was occuring. That was also with Win98SE. I went and put XP back on my computer and it's not doing it anymore.
