ok heres the problem, the selector sticks, saturday i was stuck in 2H, now its in neutral. I was told that the zook transfer stick carries a small nylon cup on the very bottom of the stick, upon inspection there wasnt one. I approached my local 4x4 spares shop to purchase one.
Here goes.....
the salesman said that Suzuki transfers did have one, so i requested that one be ordered in ($8). Midday the next day i phoned to see if it had arrived, the salesman stated that he was waiting for other orders to make the delivery worthwhile as it was only an $8 part. So he hadnt yet placed the order and wasnt gpoing to. Now im waiting on a part thats never going to come. he then tells me he can order one from Suzuki genuine for the same cost. Why didnt he say this yesterday???? GRRRRRR
Anyways i proceeded to state that i will never use their services again and hung up. Extremely Pissed!!!!!!!!
I then phone Suzuki who state that the part im chasing doesnt actually exist??? Go figure.
The selector bushing down in the case seems A OK, however the selector still seizes. Suzuki states that there isnt a nylon cup on the stick, however i have known some parts places to be incorrect.
Can anyone help?

a bad photo of my case showing the rubber bushing:

you might want to replace this bushing even if you think it's okay. also make sure it's not in upside down (ie tapered side should face up). as far as i know, there's no rubber cup on the stick. also make sure you case has enough gear oil? not making any assumptions here just trying to help.

Go to a Suzuki dealer, and take a note of your chassis number b4 u go.

If you have MAJOR dramas let me know and i can organise one for you. I'm suprised you're having so many problems.

If u have anymore dramas, go to Newcastle Gearbox and Diff in Broadmeadow...these guys fix this problem all the time...and they are the ones that showed me how to use the hilux stuff in there...
